²⁰ Manasseh died and was buried at the palace, and his son Amon succeeded him as king.

²¹ Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king of Judah, and he ruled in Jerusalem for two years. ²² Like his father Manasseh, he sinned against the Lord, and he worshiped the idols that his father had worshiped.
