4 It stood upon twelve oxen. Three looked northward and three looked westward and three looked southward and three looked eastward. And the Sea stood above, upon them. And all their hind parts were inward.
5 And its thickness was a hand breadth. And its brim was like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies. It contained three thousand baths.
6 He also made ten caldrons and put five on the right and five on the left, in which to wash and cleanse the things for the Burnt Offerings. But the Sea was for the priests to wash in.
