¹⁰ Elijah responded to the captain, ‘If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.’ Then fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.^(A)

¹² Elijah responded, ‘If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.’ So a divine fire^[a] came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.

²² I will execute judgement on him with plague and bloodshed. I will pour out torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and burning sulphur on him, as well as his troops and the many peoples who are with him.^(A)
