²⁰ They carried him back^(A) on horses, and he was buried in Jerusalem with his ancestors in the city of David.^(B)

²¹ Then all the people of Judah took Azariah,^[a](C) who was sixteen years old, and made him king in place of his father Amaziah. ²² After Amaziah the king rested with his ancestors, Azariah rebuilt Elath^[b](D) and restored it to Judah.
