³ And he did uprightly in the sight of the LORD, yet not like David, his father, but did according to all that Joash, his father, had done.

⁴ Nevertheless, the high places were not taken away, as the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.

⁵ And when the kingdom was confirmed in his hand, he killed his servants who had killed the king, his father.
