⁶ who said to them, ‘Tell your master, “The Lord says this: Don’t be afraid^(A) because of the words you have heard, with which the king of Assyria’s attendants^(B) have blasphemed^(C) me.

³ Indeed, this happened to Judah at the Lord’s command to remove them from his presence.^(A) It was because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all he had done,^(B)

²¹ But Neco sent messengers to him, saying, ‘What is the issue between you and me, king of Judah?^(A) I have not come against you today^[a] but I am fighting another dynasty.^[b] God told me to hurry. Stop opposing God who is with me; don’t make him destroy you! ’
