¹⁹ Amon was twenty-two years old when he began his two-year reign in Jerusalem. His mother was Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

²⁰ [But] he also did evil in the sight of the Lord, as his father Manasseh had done.^(A)

²¹ He walked in all the ways of his father; and he served the idols that his father served, and worshiped them;
