²⁷ When King Ahaziah of Judah saw what was happening, he fled up the road towards Beth-haggan. Jehu pursued him, shouting, ‘Shoot him too! ’ So they shot him in his chariot^[a] at Gur Pass near Ibleam,^(A) but he fled to Megiddo^(B) and died there.^{(C) 28} Then his servants carried him to Jerusalem in a chariot and buried him in his ancestors’ tomb in the city of David.^(D)
