³ “Then take the box of oil and pour it on his head, and say, ‘Thus says the LORD: “I have anointed you for king over Israel.”’ Then open the door and flee without any delay.”

⁴ So the servant of the Prophet got himself to Ramoth Gilead.

⁵ And when he came in, behold, the captains of the army were sitting. And he said, “I have a message to you, O captain.” And Jehu said, “To which one of us?” And he answered, “To you, O captain.”
