⁴³ He asked them, ‘How is it then that David, inspired by the Spirit,^[a] calls him “Lord”^(A):

³² He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High,^(A) and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.^(B)

⁸ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’^(A)

³² And what more can I say? Time is too short for me to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah,^(A) David, Samuel, and the prophets,^(B)
