⁹ They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction^(A) from the Lord’s presence^(B) and from his glorious strength^{(C) 10} on that day when he comes^(D) to be glorified^(E) by his saints^(F) and to be marvelled at by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed. ¹¹ In view of this, we always pray for you that our God will make you worthy of his calling,^(G) and by his power fulfil your every desire to do good^[a] and your work produced by faith,^(H)
