⁶ Therefore, I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands.^{(A) 7} For God has not given us a spirit of fear,^(B) but one of power,^[a](C) love,^(D) and sound judgment.

Not Ashamed of the Gospel

⁸ So don’t be ashamed^(E) of the testimony about our Lord,^(F) or of me his prisoner.^(G) Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power^(H) of God.
