2 Timothy 2:18-20

¹⁸ They have departed from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already taken place,^(A) and are ruining the faith of some.^{(B) 19} Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, bearing this inscription:^(C) The Lord knows those who are his,^[a](D) and let everyone who calls on the name^(E) of^[b] the Lord turn away from wickedness.^(F)

²⁰ Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels,^(G) but also those of wood and clay; some for honourable^[c] use and some for dishonourable.^[d](H)
