Difficult Times Ahead

3 But know this: Hard times will come in the last days.^(A)

² In these last days,^(A) he has spoken to us by his Son. God has appointed him heir of all things^(B) and made the universe^[a](C) through him.

³ Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have stored up treasure in the last days.^(A)

²⁰ He was foreknown^(A) before the foundation of the world but was revealed in these last times^(B) for you.
