Ang Paghari ni Abia sa Juda
(1 Hari 15:1-8)
13 Nahimong hari sa Juda si Abia sa ika-18 nga tuig sa paghari ni Jeroboam sa Israel. 2 Sa Jerusalem siya nagpuyo, ug naghari siya sulod sa tulo ka tuig. Ang iyang inahan mao si Maaca[a] nga anak ni Uriel nga taga-Gibea.
Unya may nahitabong gira tali kang Abia ug Jeroboam. 3 Misulong si Abia uban ang 400,000 ka maisog nga mga sundalo, ug nangandam usab si Jeroboam ug 800,000 ka maisog nga mga sundalo alang sa pagpakiggira.

Abijah King of Judah(A)
13 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Jeroboam, Abijah became king of Judah, 2 and he reigned in Jerusalem three years. His mother’s name was Maakah,[a](B) a daughter[b] of Uriel of Gibeah.
There was war between Abijah(C) and Jeroboam.(D) 3 Abijah went into battle with an army of four hundred thousand able fighting men, and Jeroboam drew up a battle line against him with eight hundred thousand able troops.
