4 Gipaguba usab niya ang mga halaran sa mga imahen ni Baal ug ang mga halaran nga sunoganan sa insenso sa ibabaw niini. Gipangdugmok niya ang mga poste nga simbolo sa diosa nga si Ashera, ang mga dios-dios ug ang mga rebulto, ug unya gikatag niya kini didto sa mga lubnganan sa mga tawo nga naghalad ngadto kanila.

4 Under his direction the altars of the Baals were torn down; he cut to pieces the incense altars that were above them, and smashed the Asherah poles(A) and the idols. These he broke to pieces and scattered over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.(B)
