²⁴ Then they prayed,^(A) ‘You, Lord, know everyone’s hearts; show which of these two you have chosen^(B)

¹⁷ Then Peter and John laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

³ Then after they had fasted, prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them off.^(A)

⁶ Therefore, I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands.^(A)
