¹⁴ ‘No, Lord! ’ Peter said. ‘For I have never eaten anything impure and ritually unclean.’^(A)

¹⁵ Again, a second time, the voice said to him, ‘What God has made clean, do not call impure.’^(B)

³⁵ but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.

⁸ And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he also did to us.^{(A) 9} He made no distinction between us and them,^(B) cleansing their hearts by faith.^(C)
