¹⁹ While Peter was thinking about the vision, the Spirit told him, “Three men are here looking for you.^(A)

¹² The Spirit told me to accompany them with no doubts at all. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we went into the man’s house.^(A)

² As they were worshiping^[a] the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”^(A)

²³ except that in every town the Holy Spirit warns me that chains and afflictions are waiting for me.^(A)

¹¹ He came to us, took Paul’s belt, tied his own feet and hands, and said, “This is what the Holy Spirit says: ‘In this way the Jews in Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him over to the Gentiles.’”^(A)
