¹⁵ ‘People! Why are you doing these things? We are people also, just like you, and we are proclaiming good news to you, that you turn from these worthless things^(A) to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them.^[a](B)

¹⁰ Then I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, ‘Don’t do that!^(A) I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who hold firmly to the testimony of Jesus.^(B) Worship God, because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit^[a] of prophecy.’

⁸ I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown them to me.
