⁷ When they came to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus^(A) did not allow them.

⁵ This hope will not disappoint us,^(A) because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts^(B) through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

²⁰ The law came along to multiply the trespass.^(A) But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even more,^(B)

⁹ You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.^(A) If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ,^(B) he does not belong to him.

¹⁶ The Spirit himself testifies together with our spirit^(A) that we are God’s children,

¹⁷ Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
