A Short Ministry in Thessalonica

17 After they passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica,^(A) where there was a Jewish synagogue.

²⁹ So the city was filled with confusion, and they rushed all together into the amphitheatre, dragging along Gaius^(A) and Aristarchus,^(B) Macedonians who were Paul’s travelling companions.

⁴ He was accompanied^[a] by Sopater son of Pyrrhus^[b] from Berea, Aristarchus and Secundus from Thessalonica, Gaius from Derbe, Timothy,^(A) and Tychicus^(B) and Trophimus^(C) from the province of Asia.

¹⁰ Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you greetings, as does Mark,^(A) Barnabas’s^(B) cousin (concerning whom you have received instructions: if he comes to you, welcome him),
