⁴¹ So those who accepted his message were baptised, and that day about three thousand people were added to them.

⁴⁷ praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number^[a] those who were being saved.^(A)

¹⁴ Believers were added to the Lord in increasing numbers – multitudes of both men and women.
