¹⁵ since you will be a witness for him to all people of what you have seen and heard.^(A)

¹⁶ For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason to boast, because I am compelled to preach^[a] – and woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

1 What was from the beginning,^(A) what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have observed and have touched with our hands, concerning the word^(B) of life – 

³ what we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may also have fellowship^(A) with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father^(B) and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
