23 Now Paul, looking intently at ^(A)the Sanhedrin, said, “^(B)Brothers, ^(C)I have ^[a]lived my life in all good conscience before God up to this day.”

¹⁶ In view of this, ^(A)I also ^[a]do my best to maintain always a conscience without fault both before God and before men.

⁵ But the goal of our ^(A)command is love ^(B)from a pure heart and a ^(C)good conscience and an unhypocritical ^(D)faith.
