¹⁴ Believers were added to the Lord in increasing numbers—crowds of both men and women.

²⁴ for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit^(A) and of faith. And large numbers of people were added^(B) to the Lord.

⁵ So the churches were strengthened in the faith and increased in number daily.^(A)

¹⁸ Whoever serves Christ^(A) in this way is acceptable to God and approved by men.^(B)
