Acts 5:19-26
English Standard Version
19 But during the night (A)an angel of the Lord (B)opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20 “Go and stand in the temple and speak to the people all (C)the words of (D)this (E)Life.” 21 And when they heard this, (F)they entered the temple (G)at daybreak and began to teach.
Now when the high priest came, and those who were with him, they called together the council, all the senate of the people of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. 22 But when the officers came, they did not find them in the prison, so they returned and reported, 23 “We found the prison securely locked and the guards standing at the doors, but when we opened them we found no one inside.” 24 Now when (H)the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were greatly perplexed about them, wondering what this would come to. 25 And someone came and told them, “Look! The men whom you put in prison (I)are standing in the temple and teaching the people.” 26 Then (J)the captain with the officers went and brought them, but not by force, for (K)they were afraid of being stoned by the people.

Acts 5:19-26
New International Version
19 But during the night an angel(A) of the Lord opened the doors of the jail(B) and brought them out.(C) 20 “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”(D)
21 At daybreak they entered the temple courts, as they had been told, and began to teach the people.
When the high priest and his associates(E) arrived, they called together the Sanhedrin(F)—the full assembly of the elders of Israel—and sent to the jail for the apostles. 22 But on arriving at the jail, the officers did not find them there.(G) So they went back and reported, 23 “We found the jail securely locked, with the guards standing at the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside.” 24 On hearing this report, the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests(H) were at a loss, wondering what this might lead to.
25 Then someone came and said, “Look! The men you put in jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people.” 26 At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people(I) would stone them.
