9 Since much time had passed, and the voyage was now dangerous because even (A)the Fast[a] was already over, Paul advised them, 10 saying, “Sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with (B)injury and much loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.” 11 But the centurion paid more attention to (C)the pilot and to the owner of the ship than to what Paul said.

9 Mnogo smo vremena izgubili. Plovidba je postala vrlo opasnom jer je već bila jesen,[a] a Pavao upozori:
10 'Ljudi, vidim da će plovidba biti pogibeljna i da ćemo pretrpjeti veliku štetu - ne samo u teretu nego i u našim životima.'
11 Ali stotnik je više vjerovao kormilaru i vlasniku broda nego Pavlu.
