Amos 1:9-11

I will not relent from punishing Tyre^(A)
for three crimes, even four,
because they handed over
a whole community of exiles to Edom
and broke^[a] a treaty of brotherhood.^(B)
10 Therefore, I will send fire^(C) against the walls of Tyre,
and it will consume its citadels.

I will not relent from punishing Edom^(D)
for three crimes, even four,
because he pursued his brother with the sword.^(E)
He stifled his compassion,
his anger tore at him^(F) continually,
and he harboured his rage incessantly.
