17 Apenas lo vi, caí fulminado a sus pies; pero él me tocó con su mano derecha y me dijo:
— No temas; yo soy el primero y el último. 18 Yo soy el que vive. Estuve muerto, pero ahora vivo para siempre y tengo en mi poder las llaves de la muerte y del abismo. 19 Escribe, pues, lo que has visto, lo que está sucediendo y lo que sucederá después.

18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
