²⁵ He will speak words against the Most High^(A) and oppress^[a] the holy ones^(B) of the Most High. He will intend to change religious festivals^[b] and laws,^(C) and the holy ones will be handed over to him for a time, times, and half a time.^[c](D)

⁷ Then I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the water of the river. He raised both his hands^[a](A) towards heaven and swore by him who lives eternally^(B) that it would be for a time, times, and half a time.^(C) When the power of the holy people is shattered, all these things will be completed.

¹¹ From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation^(A) is set up,^(B) there will be 1,290 days.

⁶ The woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God,^(A) to be nourished there^[a] for 1,260 days.^(B)

¹⁴ The woman was given two wings of a great eagle,^(A) so that she could fly from the serpent’s presence to her place in the wilderness, where she was nourished for a time, times, and half a time.^(B)

⁵ The beast was given a mouth to utter boasts and blasphemies.^(A) It was allowed to exercise authority^[a][b] for forty-two months.^(B)
