⁸Mientras yo miraba los cuernos, surgió de pronto otro cuerno pequeño entre ellos. Tres de los primeros cuernos fueron arrancados de raíz para darle lugar al nuevo. Este cuerno pequeño tenía ojos que parecían humanos y una boca que presumía con arrogancia.

⁹Observé mientras colocaban unos tronos en su lugar,
    y el Anciano^[a] se sentó a juzgar.
Su ropa era blanca como la nieve;
    su cabello se parecía a la lana más pura.
Se sentó sobre un trono ardiente
    con ruedas en llamas,
¹⁰y un río de fuego
    brotaba de su presencia.
Millones de ángeles le atendían;
    muchos millones se pusieron de pie para servirle.
Entonces comenzó la sesión del tribunal
    y se abrieron los libros.

⁸“While I was thinking about the horns, there before me was another horn, a little^(A) one, which came up among them; and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a human being^(B) and a mouth that spoke boastfully.^(C)

⁹“As I looked,

“thrones were set in place,
    and the Ancient of Days^(D) took his seat.^(E)
His clothing was as white as snow;^(F)
    the hair of his head was white like wool.^(G)
His throne was flaming with fire,
    and its wheels^(H) were all ablaze.
¹⁰A river of fire^(I) was flowing,
    coming out from before him.^(J)
Thousands upon thousands attended him;
    ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him.
The court was seated,
    and the books^(K) were opened.

⁸I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

⁹I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

¹⁰A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
