3 Nous avons changé de direction et pris la route du Basan ; mais Og, roi du Basan, a marché contre nous avec toute son armée et nous a attaqués à Edréi. 2 Alors l’Eternel m’a dit : « N’aie pas peur de lui, car je te le livre avec toute son armée et tout son pays. Tu le traiteras comme tu as traité Sihôn, roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Heshbôn. » 3 Ainsi l’Eternel notre Dieu nous livra aussi Og, roi du Basan, avec toute son armée, et nous l’avons battu jusqu’à ce qu’il ne lui reste plus de survivant.

Defeat of Og King of Bashan
3 Next we turned and went up along the road toward Bashan, and Og king of Bashan(A) with his whole army marched out to meet us in battle at Edrei.(B) 2 The Lord said to me, “Do not be afraid(C) of him, for I have delivered him into your hands, along with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.”
3 So the Lord our God also gave into our hands Og king of Bashan and all his army. We struck them down,(D) leaving no survivors.(E)
