Punishment of Apostates

13 “If there arises among you a prophet or a ^(A)dreamer of dreams, ^(B)and he gives you a sign or a wonder,

⁴⁸ Then Jesus said to him, ^(A)“Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”

⁹ The coming of the lawless one is ^(A)according to the working of Satan, with all power, ^(B)signs, and lying wonders,

^13 (A)He performs great signs, ^(B)so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.
