Witnesses in Court

¹⁵ ‘One witness cannot establish any iniquity or sin against a person, whatever that person has done.^(A) A fact must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.^(B)

¹⁶ But if he won’t listen, take one or two others with you, so that by the testimony^[a] of two or three witnesses every fact may be established.^[b](A)

¹⁷ Even in your law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true.^{(A) 18} I am the one who testifies^(B) about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.’
