¹⁴ Do not turn aside to the right or the left from all the things I am commanding you today,^(A) and do not follow other gods to worship them.

¹⁰ These evil people, who refuse to listen to me, who follow the stubbornness of their own hearts,^(A) and who have followed other gods to serve and bow in worship – they will be like this underwear, of no use at all.

¹⁵ Time and time again^[a] I have sent you all my servants the prophets, proclaiming, ‘Turn, each one from his evil way,^(A) and correct your actions. Stop following other gods to serve them.^(B) Live in the land that I gave you and your ancestors.’ But you did not pay attention or obey me.^(C)
