¹⁶ I saw how you had sinned against the Lord your God; you had made a calf image for yourselves. You had quickly turned from the way the Lord had commanded for you.

²⁰ The rest of the people, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands^(A) to stop worshipping demons^(B) and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood,^(C) which cannot see, hear, or walk.^(D)
