²³ When the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, he said, “Go up and possess the land I have given you”; you rebelled against the command of the Lord your God. You did not believe or obey him.^(A)

¹¹ Yet, when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe it.^(A)

⁶⁷ They said,^(A) ‘If you are the Messiah, tell us.’

But he said to them, ‘If I do tell you, you will not believe.

⁴⁸ Jesus told him, ‘Unless you people see signs and wonders,^(A) you will not believe.’^(B)

⁶⁴ But there are some among you who don’t believe.’ (For Jesus knew from the beginning^(A) those who did not^[a] believe and the one who would betray^(B) him.)
