Ephesians 6:11-18

¹¹ Put on^(A) the full armour^(B) of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. ¹² For our struggle is not against flesh^(C) and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,^(D) against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil,^(E) spiritual forces in the heavens.^{(F) 13} For this reason take up the full armour^(G) of God, so that you may be able to resist^(H) in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. ¹⁴ Stand,^(I) therefore, with truth^(J) like a belt round your waist, righteousness^(K) like armour on your chest,^{(L) 15} and your feet sandalled with readiness for the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In every situation take up the shield^(M) of faith^(N) with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.^{(O) 17} Take the helmet^(P) of salvation and the sword^(Q) of the Spirit^(R) – which is the word of God. ¹⁸ Pray^(S) at all times in the Spirit^(T) with every prayer and request, and stay alert^(U) with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
