Our Great High Priest

¹⁴ Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens – Jesus the Son of God – let us hold fast to our confession.^(A)

²⁶ For this is the kind of high priest we need: holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.^(A)

²⁴ For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands (only a model^[a] of the true one) but into heaven itself, so that he might now appear in the presence of God for us.^(A)
