25 But he cried to the Lord, and he shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, they were turned into sweetness. There he appointed him ordinances, and judgments, and there he proved him,
26 Saying: If thou wilt hear the voice of the Lord thy God, and do what is right before him, and obey his commandments, and keep all his precepts, none of the evils that I laid upon Egypt, will I bring upon thee: for I am the Lord thy healer.
27 And the children of Israel came into Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees: and they encamped by the waters.

New International Version
25 Then Moses cried out(A) to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw(B) it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.
There the Lord issued a ruling and instruction for them and put them to the test.(C) 26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep(D) all his decrees,(E) I will not bring on you any of the diseases(F) I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals(G) you.”
27 Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped(H) there near the water.
