¹⁵ And Moses built an altar and called the name of it, “Jehovah Nissi” (the LORD is my Banner).

¹⁰ And as Samuel offered the Burnt Offering, the Philistines came to fight against Israel. But the LORD thundered with a great thunder upon the Philistines that day and scattered them. So they were killed before Israel.

¹² Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen and called its name, Ebenezer. And he said, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”

5 Then Deborah and Barak, the son of Abinoam, sang the same day, saying,

² “Praise the LORD for the avenging of Israel, and for the people who offered themselves willingly!

²¹ And after he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers to the LORD, and those who would praise in the beautiful Sanctuary by going forth before the men of arms, and saying, “Praise the LORD! For His mercy endures forever!”
