31 ‘Be my holy people. You must not eat the meat of a mauled animal(A) found in the field; throw it to the dogs.
43 He said to David, ‘Am I a dog(A) that you come against me with sticks? ’[a] Then he cursed David by his gods.(B)
14 Who has the king of Israel come after? What are you chasing after? A dead dog? A single flea?(A)
8 Mephibosheth paid homage and said, ‘What is your servant that you take an interest in a dead dog(A) like me? ’
9 Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said to the king, ‘Why should this dead dog(A) curse my lord the king?(B) Let me go over and remove his head! ’
