¹³ ‘Pay strict attention to everything I have said to you. You must not invoke the names of other gods; they must not be heard on your lips.^[a](A)

⁷ and so that you do not associate with these nations remaining among you. Do not call on the names of their gods or make an oath to them;^(A) do not serve them or bow in worship to them.
