¹⁹ ‘Bring the best of the firstfruits of your land to the house of the Lord your God.

‘You must not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.^(A)

¹² You may present them to the Lord as an offering of firstfruits,^(A) but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma.

²³ Not only that,^(A) but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits^(B) – we also groan within ourselves,^(C) eagerly waiting for adoption,^(D) the redemption of our bodies.^(E)
