⁶ ‘You must not deny justice to a poor person among you in his lawsuit.

¹⁰ Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the resident foreigner or the poor,^(A) and do not plot evil in your hearts against one another.”^(B)

⁵ ‘I will come to you in judgement, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the hired worker, the widow, and the fatherless; and against those who deny justice to the resident foreigner.^(A) They do not fear me,’^(B) says the Lord of Armies.
