7 Then pour the anointing oil on his head and anoint him.
8 “As for his sons, make them draw near and clothe them in their tunics, 9 wrap their sashes around them, and tie their caps on them. They will participate in the priesthood by an eternal statute. This is how you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

7 Take the anointing oil(A) and anoint him by pouring it on his head. 8 Bring his sons and dress them in tunics(B) 9 and fasten caps on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons.[a](C) The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance.(D)
