⁶ Then he continued, ‘I am the God of your father,^[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’^(A) Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

¹⁵ God also said to Moses, ‘Say this to the Israelites: The Lord, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my name for ever;^(A) this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

³⁸ For whoever is ashamed^(A) of me and my words^(B) in this adulterous and sinful^(C) generation,^(D) the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory^(E) of his Father^(F) with the holy^(G) angels.’^(H)

¹⁸ The Lord will rescue me from every evil work and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom.^(A) To him be the glory for ever and ever! Amen.

¹⁴ For we do not have an enduring city here; instead, we seek the one to come.^(A)
