Exodus 32:33-35

³³ However, the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, ^(A)I will wipe him out of My book. ³⁴ But go now, lead the people ^(B)where I told you. Behold, ^(C)My angel shall go before you; nevertheless ^(D)on the day when I ^[a]punish, ^(E)I will ^[b]punish them for their sin.” ^35 (F)Then the Lord struck the people with a plague, because of ^(G)what they did with the calf which Aaron had made.
