⁴ He constructed for the altar a grate of bronze mesh under its ledge,^[a] halfway up from the bottom. ⁵ He cast four rings at the four corners of the bronze grate as holders for the poles. ⁶ He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with bronze.
